Delete your UnitX account

• Use the request form below, or email admin@unitfactor.org, from the email address you sign in to UnitX with. That is how we know the request is yours.
• Say whether you want your whole account deleted, or only some of your data (for example, your notification history or your registered phones).
• We reply to confirm we have received it. If the request comes from a different address, we ask you to confirm from the account’s address first.
• We complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming it and email you when it is done.

You can also stop UnitX contacting your phone at any time without deleting anything: sign out in the app (which removes your device's push registration), or turn notifications off in your phone's settings.

• Your profile: name, email address, password hash, two-factor secrets and passkeys.
• Your sign-in sessions on every device, and your phones’ push notification registrations.
• Your personal settings: notification preferences, quiet hours, and your saved views and filters.
• Your notifications and inbox.
• Your memberships in every organization, so you no longer appear in any workspace’s member list.

• Work in an organization's workspace. Tasks, documents, comments and messages you created belong to the organization that owns the workspace, as described in our Terms, and stay there after your account is deleted, shown as written by a former member. To have that content deleted, ask that organization's administrator. If you are the only administrator, we will ask you what should happen to the workspace.
• Audit records. Organizations keep a record of who did what for security and compliance. After deletion these entries no longer carry your name or email address.
• Billing records. If you paid for a plan, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Payment details themselves are held by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, under its own privacy policy.
• Backups. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until they are overwritten, within 90 days. Backups are used only to recover from failures, never to restore a deleted account.
• Legal holds. If the law or a legal claim requires us to keep specific data, we keep only that data, only for as long as required.

If your employer or another organization manages your UnitX account, for example through single sign-on, its administrator can remove you from the workspace directly and decides what happens to the workspace's content. You can still ask us to delete your personal account data using the steps above.
